Welcome at the Hotel-Garni Jagdhof in Vorderlanersbach / Tux.

Our house is situated at 1,300 m altitude on a slope above the village centre of Vorderlanersbach - only a few steps away from the bottom station of the Rastkogel ski lift. The Rastkogel is the entrance to the ski area Zillertal 3000; our whole-year ski area Hintertux Glacier is only 7 km away and can be comfortably reached by car or ski bus.

A special advantage in the summer are the numerous hiking and walking routes in the Zillertal mountains.

You can choose between many mountain bike routes of all ability levels that lead by our house.

The Holiday Region Tux

Relaxing and always surprising – that's how your holidays in Tux will be! The special features of Tux are a combination of the variety of Nature, natural hospitality and real tradition! One storey above the rest, at 1,300 to 3,250 meters altitude, you will find Tux, an idyllic high alpine valley at the end of the Ziller valley, ideal for a challenging holiday. The municipality of Tux spans a length of about 8 km and consists of the five villages Vorderlanersbach, Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit und Hintertux. The Tux villages are typical little Tyrolean villages, part of the end of the valley together with the Hintertux glacier - a Nature and sport paradise for the entire family - 365 days a year! Each day, the Tux sport bus takes you where you want to go. In the winter, you can use the "1-Euro-Night-Liner" until 2:30 in the morning to get from date to date!
